"One word. Fantastic. Ok, now more detail. I read the reviews a month ago when planning our trip from Raleigh and knew this sounded like the perfect place for our anniversary dinner. They did not disappoint. Our salads ( you get to fully customize your salad! ) were great and super fresh. The French onion soup was good and the mozzarella cheese sticks were excellent. I had a 5 oz filet with fries and mac and cheese and my fiance had the scallops. Both were cooked and seasoned perfectly. If I had one complaint, the fries with my steak were overcooked but honestly I wasn't going to eat a lot of them anyway, just would have been nice to take them with us for a snack the next day. Service was great overall, they work well as a team. I absolutely would recommend eating here at least once if you're visiting this area, we're going back tomorrow!"

"The food waa delicious, with 1 exception, the ribeye was char grilled just a hair too much, where the char lines were at almost tasted burnt. Everything else was amazing, especially the scallops, they were phenomenal! Ooh the bang bang shrimp was great too!"

"This establishment is undoubtedly the finest steakhouse I have had the pleasure of visiting in recent memory. My wife and I were in town celebrating our wedding anniversary and, despite my last-minute request, they were gracious enough to accommodate our reservation. The culinary experience was simply exquisite. The establishment offers the unique opportunity to customize one's salad, which was a delightful touch. The steaks were prepared to perfection, and the table service was impeccable, with our server attentively checking on us throughout the meal. As you are aware, while the quality of food in fine dining establishments is generally consistent, it is the service that truly elevates or diminishes the overall experience. In this regard, our server, Angela, played a pivotal role. Upon returning home from dinner, I discovered three missed calls from Angela. I had inadvertently left my wallet at the restaurant. In a remarkable display of thoughtfulness and dedication, she offered to personally deliver it to our residence, despite the restaurant having already closed for the evening. This act of kindness, coupled with the thoughtful gesture of an anniversary card signed by the entire staff, solidified our decision to dine at this establishment a good choice. We shall certainly return in the future. If you find yourself in the vicinity and seeking an exceptional steakhouse experience, I wholeheartedly recommend making this your primary choice."

"Ive eaten around the world, worked decades in the restaurant industry, and was raised in Americas beef country. Lake Park is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. The menu, the service, the drinks; simply incredible. Do not sleep on going here. You will thank me later."

"We went here for our 5 year anniversary and really enjoyed our experience. The waitress was super friendly and paced our meal out perfectly. Just about every meal comes with a salad and side. You get a wipeable paper to write down what you'd like on your salad and it's catered towards your taste buds. We got a bottle of wine and each got steak, his was a ribeye and I opted for prime Rib. Our steaks were prepared the right way and when we were done, the waitress boxed our dinners for us. I was very impressed with our level of fine dining. They even signed a card for us and that made our evening. We both enjoyed this experience and look forward to celebrating here again soon."

"On our honeymoon, we are staying very close and walked here for dinner. The service from Jasmine was nothing short of exceptional. Attentive, kind, fun and friendly- she made our whole dinner experience amazing! I had an issue with my food and she took care of it, with no problem at all and didn’t make me feel bad about it. My husband had NY strip steak, Caesar salad, and though I didn’t try it, he said the salad and steak was top tier. To make the whole experience even sweeter, we got the banana cream pie. It tasted like heaven and we’re joking (but also serious) that we want to come back just to buy a whole pie. We can not recommend this place enough, and again Jasmine was exceptional- we wish her all the best!!"

"Lake Park Steakhouse Out of Towner’s here…from Hampton and Poquoson, VA celebrating a friends 40th birthday and traveled down to Carolina Beach to share in the festivities with a friend who had moved to the area. We were going to be eating out the Air BNB but while one of the friends on the trip travelled around that date site seeing, they came upon the distinct smell of steak being cooked and the plans changed quickly…SO GLAD THEY DID. The group rallied around the idea of steak that evening and he made reservations for us at Lake Park Steakhouse. We arrived and it is one of the coolest steakhouses I have ever been in, the Christmas decorations were still up which added to the cozy ambiance of the exposed wood, the cozy seating, the deep reds and greens and the simple warmth of the place. Jasmine was our server and she is absolutely amazing, we had a great time with her as we are or have been in the industry. With all of us staring at the menu, she introduced herself, told us the specials of the evening and brought a round of waters. There was so much to choose from, but because we did not make our reservations early enough we did not get a chance to order the Prime Rib so that it could be prepped properly. But that did not deter us in any way shape or form, they still had plenty of to choose from. So everyone looked and found what they wanted quickly and we got to play a game, Jasmine had these cool, laminated salad or side sheets, they were numbered and we were not allowed to swap with anyone or you were going to get the wrong salad. It had every option you could think of to make your salad, from four different types of greens to every topping you could imagine. We followed directions and all won the game with our salads and I had to have appetizers, I ordered the onion strings and the prime rib soup…OMG!!!!! I was not sharing the soup, not with anyone. We then ordered our entrees and most went with the Ribeye, but I had to go with the Parmesan Crusted chicken with a potato. Everyone was happy, we did not talk to each other because we were enjoying every bite. The steaks were cooked perfectly (and they were huge), the chicken was tender and crunchy on top, we all wanted to finish our meals, but there was no way that was going to happen with the fresh bread, the appetizers, the salads and the amount of food you get. Jasmine took our leftovers and packed them for us, we stacked our plates and cleaned up our mess (we are all in the industry) and by the time she got back with the food, we were spent. Event had some time to take a pic with Jasmine, who we love and if we come back, will make sure she is working before we come with our reservation submitted early to have the Prime Rib, lol. We know what to do this time. But it was a great experience, delicious food, wonderful staff, beautiful ambiance and we love Jasmine. You will be lucky to have her and I am telling you, you better treat her right!!! Thank you for the wonderful evening with friends. We will be back."
